Our VIP Tour gathers at The Parish House and includes areas off limits to the general public. These include our priest’s chapel, the sacristy, the crypt, the altar and our famous stained-glass windows. You will learn about the Cathedral’s rich history, extraordinary architectural and much more. The hour long, private group docent tour is appropriate for all ages.

Noon Mass will commence 15 minutes after the tour concludes. Guests are welcome to stay to enjoy our 19 bells coupled with 7,855 pipes on our world famous organ.

*Although you'll have as much time as you like inside the cathedral, we recommend allowing between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes to explore all its nooks and crannies. These are numerous, as St. Patrick's Cathedral has 21 altars and 19 bells. Make sure to look at the main altar, the beautiful stained glass windows and the famous Pietà sculpture. This impressive and moving sculpture is 3 times the size of Michaelangelo's sculpture in St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. *
