Playwright Jim Knable calls his latest work, Green Man, “a play about love, loss and gargoyles.” The thing about gargoyles is they’re made of stone. They don’t change. But that’s not life. Because in life, everything is changing. Especially the Green Man, a character who seems to be something different to everyone he meets. But is he what Ronald, Abigail and Genice, a trio of artist friends, really need? Because unlike the Green Man, they seem to be stuck in stone. Green Man will receive its West Coast premiere at StagesTheatre in Fullerton.
