About Stairway to Art
For Heather Whitt, life sometimes got in the way of art. And for others, the pressure of taking classes or buying art supplies seemed to be a persistent issue. When Whitt got the idea to open Stairway to Art, she managed to marry her love for creating things with the ability to share it and make it accessible. Providing all the materials and guidance, painting classes are held at different locations—often at wine bars, where students are encouraged to sip and paint—and all pupils will walk out with their finished piece after the class draws to a close.

There was a woman standing in right front of the painting while the artist was demonstrating. No one in the back could see the instructions. Woman was literally 2 ft from painting blocking it for most of class.
