First time at Star Life last week. What a lovely lady Shery is! And skilled. We had a thorough discussion to determine the best way to proceed with my very fine (and now thinning) hair which hadn't been cut in months. She gave me a layered bob that provides shape and style but is still practical because she left it long enough in front to still easily get into a pony tail. One of the "little" things that surprised me was that Shery actually managed to dry it at the end so that the style was symetrical and even in front! My hair has a strong "kick to the right" whereby BOTH sides are determined to go the same direction. Most stylists struggle to make the right side face inward but Shery effortlessly did it on the first try without me saying anything. Usually I have to coach. She seems to have good "hair instinct". The salon is clean and simple (on the ground floor of a high-rise apartment). Shery's friendliness brings great warmth to the place. Even though she is 15 min. from my home, I do think it will be worth the drive to return. I was able to get an appointment the day I called and once I was there it was efficient but not at all rushed. There are two parking spots in front of the salon and lots more on the street. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the cut and while she suggested a couple of shampoos for thinning hair, I never felt like she was pushing product on me. I always appreciate that kind of descreet professionalism.

WOW!!!! I wish there were more than 5 ⭐️ The best hair salon I have been to. Sherri was my hair stylist and she is amazing so sweet and just pure joy. I wanted a super cute short hair cut I showed her some photos and she walked me through why it would or why it would not be a good style for my hair type. I told her just go for it and honestly it felt like it took 8 minutes! I LOVE ❤️ it so much. This is a must go to salon. Purchased a Group on 😁
