What You'll Get
Many aspects of a pirate's life were less than glamorous, including the constant threat of capture and the terror of playing Twister with hook-handed crewmates. Have the fun without the fright with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $42 for a one-hour pirate cruise for two (an $84 value)
- $80 for a one-hour pirate cruise for four (a $168 value)
The custom-built, 50-foot pirate ship Dark Star takes guests on exciting, swashbuckling adventures. The costumed crew delights passengers with songs and stories before running up the Jolly Roger and attacking a treasure-laden prize ship in a water-cannon battle. All cruise-goers head home with their very own pirate outfit, including eye patch, toy sword, bandana, and toy hook. Additionally, the included Dark Star grog mug lends a piratical air to any beverage consumption, and a letter of marque commemorates the cruise. Trips begin on May 26 with a limited schedule. Starting June 23, trips depart daily at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.
Dark Star Pirate Cruises offers free rides to any child shorter than 30 inches, though gift items will only be available to fully ticketed passengers.

About The Starlight Fleet
The ships that comprise The Starlight Fleet's squadron of vessels each transport passengers across the waves on a variety of sea adventures. The Starlight ferries fisherman on four-hour excursions to hook sea bass, flounder, croakers and triggerfish, the captain using sonar, GPS, and a knowledge of the currents to identify prime fishing real estate. The Atlantic Star typically serves as a whale-watching vessel and is kitted out with a snack-filled galley and a touch tank filled with horseshoe crabs and other local sea life.
The company even boasts its very own pirate ship, The Dark Star, a custom-designed vessel built by Naval Architect Michael LeMole. It takes passengers on swashbuckling adventures during which they learn what a swash is and how to buckle it, as well as participate in treasure hunts and face painting.
