What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The owner, Desmond Boyle, is a highly-decorated firefighter with a long-time passion for the sport of boxing inherited from his father, who was a boxing coach of a championship boxing team in Northern Ireland during the 1950's.

What do you love most about your job?
Desmond feels that working with the kids keeps him young at heart, while working with the old-timers in the fight game keep him learning every day.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
The best reaction is when people come in and tell me how happy they are to find a real, authentic, old-school boxing club.
