What You'll Get
Wine is like leprechauns: it’s both sprightly and, surprisingly, made from grapes. Skip to the pot of gold with today’s Groupon to Station Plaza Wine and Spirits in Bronxville. Choose between the following options:
- For $20, you get $40 worth of wine.
- For $45, you get the Gianni Russo Package (a $100 value).
Established in 1936, Station Plaza is a heady World Cup of international fine wines, hosting labels from Argentina and Hungary to the United Kingdom, and everywhere in between. Use today's Groupon as a passport to the store’s hand-selected bottles; for collectors and scavenger hunters, friendly staff members will be glad to track down rare or obscure wines that will send dinner-table companions into fits of envy, surprise, or surprise envy.
The Gianni Russo Package is an impressive suite of wines curated by Gianni Russo, famous for his role as The Godfather’s Carlo Rizzi. The three wines included in the package are a 2009 chianti, a prosecco, and a 2008 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, all autographed by Mr. Russo. In addition, imbibers of this deal will receive an autographed promotional photo and a 20% discount card to any of the actor’s upcoming appearances, although it does not guarantee a walk-on role in the upcoming film The Godfather IV: Lazy Days in Southern Florida.

About Station Plaza Wine and Spirits
In 1936, nearly three years after the end of Prohibition, Station Plaza Wine and Spirits opened its doors. And so long as alcohol has remained legal, Station Plaza has remained on Kraft Avenue, its shop stocked with top-shelf spirits including brandy, tequila, and sambuca.
Though it has a wide selection of hard liquor, the store really specializes in wine. Its collection includes more than 2,500 hand-selected labels from around the world. Wine consultants can help narrow down a patron’s search for the perfect bottle by wine type, region, or producer, and they can even steer customers in the direction of more hard-to-find varietals or organic wines. The Station Plaza team also champions wines that rank in their top-rated category. The discerning criteria for inclusion on this list are taste and seasonality, rather than whether it stains your lips an attractive color.
