About Stella Bella
Stella Bella owner Kristin Provvidenti has good reason to be sensitive to sensitive skin. The medical makeup artist and permanent cosmetic technician is a survivor of cancer, so when she went about creating her own line of skincare products, it was important to her to use ingredients that would benefit chemotherapy patients in particular, and people with sensitive skin in general. The result is a collection of moisturizers, cleansers, and exfoliants that nourish skin without irritating it.
Since its inception, the Stella Bella line has grown like a rabbit's Christmas-card list. It now comprises tanning formulas, salt scrubs, mineral cosmetics, and even microfiber brushes. Perhaps the key to its success is transparency; one page on the company's website lists and describes all the main ingredients the products use—and the ones they avoid.
