Those who walk past Stephen's on State on a warm summer night might be overwhelmed by the intoxicating scent of sizzling steak wafting through the open french doors. They might also find their toes tapping on the sidewalk to the sound of the live music performing inside. Of course, the scene doesn't change much during the colder months, either. Customers can still find a rib-sticking menu of steakhouse fare, from New York strips served with fresh-cut fries, to seared diver scallops with creamy spinach and crab risotto, all paired with sips from the extensive wine and martini menus. There will also be live musicians performing six days a week, plus a Monday night trivia game that has diners competing for fun prizes.
