Q:

I have a 2005 Acura TL and am wanting to install one of the long range remote starts (Viper 4704V or CA5553SST). Can I purchase this $150 group-on and use the $325 value towards the purchase of one of these upgraded versions?

Alexander W.  asked on  Nov 30, 2012

A:

Hi Alexander, That's a very good question. You can certainly buy this groupon and then upgrade to a longer range ones at the prices noted. http://stereowestautotoys.com/groupon-cybermonday-2012/

Q:

My son has a 2009 Dodge Calliber. My husband is afraid someone will break into the vehicle while it is running. I'm assuming the car starter just starts the car and doesn't unlock the doors, correct? Will this product work well with his car? Thanks!

Sherry S.  asked on  Nov 30, 2012

A:

Hi Sherry, It does not unlock the doors automatically - no. If you buy lock & unlock by remote control (a $45 option) you can unlock the doors when you choose to. Also if anyone were to enter the vehicle - they still can not drive it anywhere without the key to the vehicle.

Q:

WILL THIS WORK WITH A 2005 DODGE RAM 1500 PICKUP? NO POWER LOCKS OR WINDOWS. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY ONE BUTTON REMOE START

kim m.  asked on  Nov 29, 2012

A:

Hi Kim, Yes it will work, It just has one button on the remote - for remote starting the vehicle. Here is what the remotes look like: http://stereowestautotoys.com/shop/remote-starts/4113lx/ We can add power lock motors to each door and lock and unlock by remote control for an additional $264 and the remotes would look like this: http://stereowestautotoys.com/shop/blackfriday/ca5153/

Q:

I have a 2012 Toyota Sienna and would like to keep both keys. Is there an additional fee beside the $75.00 advanced bypass costs for this model? Thanks!

Louisa F.  asked on  Nov 29, 2012

A:

Hi Louisa F, Yes the $75.00 advanced bypass fee is the only extra fee you will need if you want to keep both the keys. However if you want keyless entry, lifetime warranty and two button remote starts, the costs would be extra - check these upgrades out if you may - http://stereowestautotoys.com/groupon-cybermonday-2012/

Q:

I have a 2012 Audi A5. Will this work with this car? Also, what is the remote starting distance? One way or two way? Do you have to keep a key or can I pay the $75 upgrade for the advanced bypass? Thanks!

Andrea b.  asked on  Nov 28, 2012

A:

Hi Andrea, That's a beautiful car. Unfortunately this remote start does not work with your car. The remote start that works best for your car is this - http://stereowestautotoys.com/shop/blackfriday/mercedes-remote-start/ . YOu can start your car using a smartphone, which is obviously two way and can start it from anywhere (distance is not an issue). I can sell it to you for $823 (giving you the $175 groupon discount) over and above our black friday price. Please call us latest by tomorrow evening , referring groupon deal and we can honor this price. Thanks

Q:

I have a 2002 Ford F-150. It has no current remote systems installed. Will this work?

Tracy C.  asked on  Nov 28, 2012

A:

Hi Tracy, Yes the remote start we are selling would work with your Ford F-150. Please make sure you have two keys, we will need one of them to put in the bypass. If you want to keep both the keys it will be $75 extra for the advanced bypass charged to you when you come into the store

Q:

I have 2 cars that I'm interested in getting this for: 1. 2006 Chevy cobalt - it has 2 fobs but both have been acting up 2. 2006 VW beetle - with one fob What would the best options be for this?

LaDonna D.  asked on  Nov 28, 2012

A:

Hi Ladonna D, It seems like you will need advanced bypass for both. You can buy this Groupon and pay for the advanced bypass and keyless entry separately - http://stereowestautotoys.com/groupon-cybermonday-2012/ or you can do either of this. $238, keyless entry, advanced bypass, lifetime warranty - you can buy online 500ft range: http://stereowestautotoys.com/shop/blackfriday/ca5053/ $ 325, keyless entry, advanced bypass, lifetime warranty - you can buy online 1000ft range: http://stereowestautotoys.com/shop/blackfriday/ca5153/
