What You'll Get
Long ago, Scottish polo players longed for a game in which they could explore scenic terrain, ride an obedient mechanical horse, and wear more courageously plaid knickers. Marvel in their subsequent invention with today's Groupon to Sterling Golf Management courses. Choose one of the following options:
- For $30, you get a round of golf plus a cart (up to a $60 value).
- For $99, you get a round of golf plus two carts for four golfers (up to a $240 value).
Today's Groupon can be used at any of these four courses:
- Shattuck Golf Club, located in Jaffrey, NH.
- Norwood Country Club, located in Norwood.
- Newton Commonwealth Golf Course, located in Newton.
- Chelmsford Country Club, located in Chelmsford.
Each entwined with verdant countryside and creatively placed obstacles, the four courses provide challenging play for divot diggers of all experience levels. Resting in the gorgeous granite foothills of Mt. Monadnock, Shattuck Golf Club boasts an 18-hole course bordered by oak and pine trees, with exquisite views after every 250-yard drive. Norwood Country Club's 18-hole course, designed by Sam Mitchell, features mostly flat fairways and medium-sized greens, in contrast to the relatively short but sandtrap, water obstacle, and alligator-ridden 18-holer Newton Commonwealth Course, which is located a short distance from downtown Boston. Quiet and picturesque, Chelmsford Country Club is a 9-hole course (though you can play each hole twice for an 18-hole experience) playable for all skill levels.
At each course you’ll also get a cart, so you can motor around from shot to shot and enjoy the diverse wildlife, such as minks, foxes, moose, otters, humanzees, and great blue herons. Sterling Golf welcomes golfers of any skill level to experience these courses, so invite novices, youngsters, stooges, tenors, or former PGA champions, and hit the scenic links.
Sterling Golf Management's courses' rates fluctuate based on a number of factors; plan ahead to make sure you're redeeming your Groupon at the most opportune time. Some courses also offer discounts or specials, but because of its low rates and lack of restrictions this Groupon is still the best deal around.

About Sterling Golf Management
With nine distinct courses etched into the New England countryside, Sterling Golf Management promotes pin-hunting recreation for Boston-area golfers of all abilities. The longest and most difficult of the nine, The Shattuck Golf Club's 18-hole course kicks off with a 409-yard par 4 where players hack their way toward a green that is visually wreathed by the rising red rocks of Mount Monadnock, setting the tone for a scenic, 6,764-yard round. Groves of trees ensconce the fairways and barter over carbon dioxide at Norwood Country Club's recently renovated course, a relatively flat layout characterized by smallish greens and flanked by a lighted driving range. Lying between tall oaks for a picturesque par-54 round is the Rockland 18 par-3 holes course. Designed in 1921 in the Donald Ross tradition is the Maynard Golf Course, a picturesque par 70, 9-hole course with a full-service clubhouse. The same sylvan makeup returns at Newton Commonwealth's course, where lush tree lines cast shadows over a creek as it snakes across the fairways of seven holes.
For those looking for a quicker round, there are two nine-hole courses. Chelmsford takes golfers careening across 2,467 yards of narrow fairways, placing straight drives or skilled golf ball pilots at a premium. The Stoneham Oaks Golf Course, meanwhile, runs 1,125 yards, providing players of all ages with unique challenges and beautiful greens.
