Eating at home is so relaxing your body may fall asleep mid-digestion—ergo, it's best to eat as close to a game of billiards as possible. Worry your way into a well-digested meal with today's Groupon: for $5, you get $10 worth of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and more plus one hour of pool (on Monday & Saturday) at Steve's Cue and Grill on Memorial Parkway Southwest.
With a menu stacked with homemade snacks and classic pub fare, billiards buffs can take a break to reenergize for their next round. If your stomach sounds louder than the free game of nine-ball you're playing on Monday or Saturday, you can quietly nosh on the mesquite chicken rolls ($6), tortillas stuffed with mesquite chicken, Monterey jack cheese, jalapeños, and onions, or the Texas toothpicks basket ($4), battered thin-cut onions and jalapenos—instead of pool balls. Main courses and burgers like the 10 oz. ribeye steak tip dinner ($10) and bacon cheese burger ($5.50) pack a protein punch, while the taco salad ($7) and spicy popcorn chicken salad ($6.50) are colorful stomach stuffers. Meat-free munchers needn’t dread an empty belly; the grilled cheese ($2) and tuna salad sub ($4.50) provide a tasty reprieve from the bovine status quo. With 14 pool tables and free Wi-Fi, steal your daddy’s cue or online billiards password and head to Steve’s to make a living off of food-induced drool.

Steve’s Cue and Grill
Owner George Wade wants Steve's Cue and Grill to be a place where regulars and newbies mingle, knock back a few, and clink pool balls on one of the bar's 14 pool tables. As another stripe drives into the corner pocket, bar tables populate with 1/3-pound burgers, chili-slathered hot dogs, and platefuls of nachos and crispy fried appetizers. Guests can savor a philly steak sub or a spicy buffalo-chicken sandwich on the enclosed outdoor patio, peruse the eatery's retail billiards supplies, or surf the free WiFi for variations on the spelling of Steve, such as Stefan, Stephen, and Earl.
