Located next to Short Mountain Distillery, Stillhouse Restaurant reflects the standard definition of stillhouse, but it might also evoke the feeling of stillness: the grounds of Short Mountain Farm are surrounded by rolling hills, fields of wildflowers, and rows and rows of corn, and the lodge-like dining room includes a wraparound porch where breezes get a chance to rest in rocking chairs.

In keeping with the idyllic setting, much of Stillhouse's menu is made of farm-to-table dishes. Guests can taste local ingredients in dishes such as pasta primavera with seasonal veggies and the Short Mountain shine burger with fresh ground beef and homemade hickory sauce. Of course, don't discount the southern specialties, such as fried catfish marinated in Tennessee craft beer and craft cocktails made using spirits from that adjacent distillery.
