About Stillwagon Distillery
What began as a quest to heat water for a new koi pond evolved, for the founder of Stillwagon Distillery, into an odyssey involving water purification, steam energy, waste-heat reuse, and other lofty scientific pursuits. When these pursuits grew expensive, a lightbulb went off: all of this equipment could probably produce a mean bottle of rum. This means to a financial end is now one of Oregon's newest distilleries, where the team turns blackstrap molasses and pure cane sugar into 10 different small-batch rums, many of which come infused with fragrant fruits and spices.
