Q:

Hi, I would like to by this for a friend. Can I buy it without booking the date? Her working schedule changes every week and she does not know in advance what day she is going to have off. Thank you

Mayela R.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

Hello Mayela, You can purchase for a friend and they can always book at a later date. Just be sure to let them know if they find a date they love to go ahead and book so they do not miss out. Classes have a maximum of 25 per night and are added as needed. Thanks!

Q:

I'd love for my daughters to learn how to make their own sushi....they just love sushi! My older daughter is 17 and has had culinary in school. My younger daughter is 14. May I purchase the groupon for them, or are they considered to young to attend? If yes, do I also purchase a Groupon for myself as the parent of a minor? Brian K

Brian K.  asked on  Feb 12, 2013

A:

Hi Brian, we have had lots of teenagers in our classes before, but we do ask that they be accompanied by an adult/parent. Our classes are in the evening, alcohol is present, and we cannot totally control any adult conversations among guests, so it would be up to your discretion. I can say that in the past, when teenagers did attend, they gave feedback that it was really fun and the parents enjoyed it as well. Because you would be attending and joining in the evening, you would need to purchase the voucher. I hope this helps :) Just let me know if you would like any further assistance. Jennifer.

Q:

Are there vegan options available?

Michael K.  asked on  Feb 9, 2013

A:

Hi Michael, this is a great question. I apologize for missing it before. While we do have specialty rolls we teach, but we often have guests that attend who are vegan or vegetarian. We have lots of great ingredients available for you to create a vegan roll. Just be sure to let us know when you book for the class and we let our Chef know everyone's preferences before we get started that night! Have a great Monday!

Q:

I wanted to get this as a gift for my sister, who will be visiting for a week in March. I am unsure, however, if our schedule will allow for her to attend the class. If I put her name on the Groupon, and she is unable to use it, can another person use it to accompany me? Thanks

abbie o.  asked on  Feb 8, 2013

A:

Sure Abbie, this is not a problem. Just be sure to let us know in advance if we need to change the name on your reservation for that night for the check in. Please feel free to call us 813-248-6272 if needed. Thanks! Jennifer

Q:

I purchased this groupon last year for 2 and it expired, but I am under the impression I still retain the ability to use that money with this company. May I use that money to purchase this groupon for 2?

Tasha S.  asked on  Feb 8, 2013

A:

Hi there Tasha! This is a great question and I will do my best to answer it. If you still have any questions, feel free to ask. You are correct that your vouchers are good for the value purchased to use at our cooking classes. You can still schedule with me and just pay a rescheduling fee of $20 per guest. We try not to have our guests pay the full difference if at all possible. Please write this in the notes section when you schedule or if you feel more comfortable scheduling through email with me that is always an option. My email is events@stonechef.com Jennifer, Thanks Tasha. We look forward to seeing you soon!
