Q:

I had asked earlier about if there would be Saturday classes. Your response didn't really answer my question. You said there would be some scheduled after the new year and to check the events schedule at the website. The schedule only goes through January 2012 and so far there are no Saturday classes scheduled. This groupon is only good until March 2012. Can you please tell me which Saturday dates and types of classes will be offered before the expiration of the Groupon? Please don't just refer me to the website since the information is not there. It would be a HUGE disappointment and waste of money if, in fact, there were no Saturday classes offered and/or the topic of the class was no interest to my husband. Thank you so much!

A:

Dear Doreen, Jennifer had answered your question to the best of her ability! with it being as far out as it is we can't put those dates up yet, as Jennifer stated there will be a Saturday date posted after the first of the year. With that being said it is totally up to you if you do buy the groupon. This will make it our 5th groupon daily deal serving well over 2000 people, at a very high rate of customer satisfaction. If you buy or decide not too on behalf of myself and our great staff here at StoneChef we thank you for contacting us. Q:

If I purchase 2 tickets, can I take a friend with the other ticket? It states only 1 per customer. Now that I've purchased the two tickets, I'm confused.

Nora T.  asked on  Sep 15, 2011

A:

Your friend can use the other ticket, of course! All groupons are transferable. Thank you!

Q:

I am interested in learning about finger foods and did not see anything scheduled on the calendar. If we purchase, will that be a class that will be scheduled before the time limit on the groupon? Thanks... JoAnn

JoAnn O.  asked on  Sep 15, 2011

A:

We alway do post a finger foods class during a 6 month period. We did just have one on our schedule and we do try to mix the themes up for repeat guests, (with the exception of sushi), looking at our calendar finger foods would be the next one posted and one of the "Holiday" themes will most likely consist of specialty finger foods/party items. Thank you!

Q:

Please do not refer me to the site. The Groupon states a Four Course Cooking Class. Is this groupon good for a full four course meal or will we just learn to make one dish related to the theme for the scheduled date.

AP  asked on  Sep 15, 2011

A:

Hi there, I apologize for the delay in response, but I didn't see that there were new questions as the discussion board has changed since we were last featured on Groupon. The Groupon deal featured is good for a full four course cooking class. Every menu is different, but generally you have at least 3 reciepes/learning segments and every class plus dessert- therefore it is 4 full courses. Sometimes the dessert also a learning segment and sometimes it is just served after dinner. This depends on the theme and the other segments. Some segments are longer or more involved and so they will take up more time in the class. Thank you for your question!

Q:

I visited the site for a description of the classes but didn't have a lot of luck. What do you prepare in the finger foods class? Any chance there will be a future class offered for vegans?

Joyce B.  asked on  Sep 14, 2011

A:

Please visit www.stonechefcookingclasses.com for our complete schedule under the events tab-Thanks! Finger foods would be appetizers: if there is a calling for it i would say yes. most likely in November. Jennifer S.

Q:

I looked on your website for a description of what the different classes were. For example what does (Fusion) mean?

Brittany Z.  asked on  Sep 14, 2011

A:

Fusion is combining the different foods and cooking techniques of French, Italian, Asian and other styles to provide you with the most flavorful, creative dining experience imaginable! As StoneChef defines fusion, it is also the art of enhancing quality, style, presentation and flavor. But it doesn’t stop there! please feel free to visit stonechefcookingclasses.com and click on events for all the up coming classes. thank you....
