A Chat with Stone Fitness
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? I yearn to make a connection with my clients, to actually show you that I care about you as more than a paycheck, but as a person who has made the decision to better himself or herself both mentally and physically. That's where I separate myself from other trainers.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged? My primary role during your exercise is to ensure that you are keeping proper form. If needed, I will stop you in the middle of a movement to correct your form and prevent injury. If your form is good, I will affirm that and encourage you. I believe a lot of motivation has to come from within.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? Exercise has always been an outlet for me, both physically and mentally. I have battled with depression and PTSD before and I used exercise to deal with it. It is my goal to bring that same healing power to my clients. That's why I say that I train my clients' minds and bodies.
What do you love most about your job? Seeing people hit milestones and goals is the most rewarding feeling for me to share with my clients. Whether it be getting up from a chair without pain or back squatting a record weight, it is my goal to be there with my clients through all the triumphs and to encourage them out of the downfalls.
