This was a great place to visit. The kiddos had fun on the ropes course and exploring the mountain. The light show was awesome. I highly recommend getting the terrace tickets so you have seating as well as a snack. We arrived just before lunch time and was disappointed at the end of the day when we didn't have enough time to visit every area. We will be arriving earlier next time.

This was my first time to Stone Mountain it was an awesome trip I will be back me and my grandkids we had such a wonderful time so much to do you love it. Me and my grand son Taming the mountain.

We had so much fun! The dinosaur park was especially great and could walk through it multiple times. Be sure you check what exhibits are open before buying Groupon tickets. If you want to experience everything go on a weekend and get Groupon tickets otherwise go through Stone Mt website and buy much cheaper tickets to go during the week.

Every staff member very friendly and helpful from the gate to the vendors. People having family time and enjoying themselves. The park itself very nice and can't beat the offer here on Groupon for what you get.

About Stone Mountain Park
Calling Stone Mountain massive is something of an understatement. Spread across 3,200 acres, the park has become one of the most popular family destinations in Atlanta thanks to its collection of interactive attractions and its status as Atlanta's largest outdoor gym. That summit grows closer and closer through the window of Stone Mountain Park's signature attraction, The Summit Skyride. The high-speed cable car sweeps over the mountain, passing by the world's largest relief carving and granting its passengers incredible views. Visibility stretches more than 60 miles in all directions, revealing lakes, the Atlanta skyline, and the Appalachian Mountains.
Even with the stunning views, visitors might be tempted to descend from Stone Mountain's top to experience the dozens of attractions offered by the park, including the Skyhike, one of the nation's largest adventure ropes courses. Other attractions include the immersive 4-D Experience. In other parts of the park, they'll find the century-old Grist Mill and a quaint covered bridge.
Seasonal events—including fall festivals and other holiday festivities—pack the park's calendar, ensuring that lovers of both natural and man-made spectacles find something to marvel at.
