Great class and instructor.

Like defusing a bomb, a well-executed dance routine requires concentration, skill, and a nervous partner who questions your every move before unexpectedly jumping out of a window. Blow onlookers away with explosive dance moves thanks to today’s Groupon: for $15, you get two salsa classes at Strictly Street Salsa (a $30 value). The proud recipient of a proclamation from the city of Houston along with praise from the Sandra Organ Dance Company and Houston Grand Opera, Strictly Street Salsa has schooled thousands of students in the art of authentic Latin dance since 1998. Feel free to trick impressionable legs into soaking in salsa at the Sirrom Studio, Lambert Hall, and Dance Place locations, and fidgety feet can strut toward the schedule for a full list of dates, times, and locations.

About Strictly Street Salsa

What began as a small studio with five enthusiastic dance students has transformed into a full-fledged company that's educated thousands and won multiple awards along the way—including a Certificate of Congressional Recognition. Today, Strictly Street Salsa has a whole team of instructors that has danced its way across the likes of Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Spain, and Rome and is ready to introduce students to new cultures through the art of dance. The studio offers classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced dancers in both salsa and tango and hosts dance workshops that blend Latin dance with various cultural elements, including African movement, gypsy music, and good old-fashioned American screaming.
