What You'll Get
Dancing is a healthy way to physically connect to someone, preferable to giving them a painful bear hug or sewing your head onto their body. Get cheek-to-cheek with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $15 for two salsa classes (a $30 value)
- $49 for your choice of five Latin-dance workshops (a $100 value)
Designed for beginner, intermediate, and advanced dancers, the 60-minute salsa classes teach either the fundamentals of salsa—such as the basic steps, turns, and patterns—or more-advanced skills and techniques—including technical steps, patterns, and rhythmic improvisation. Alternatively, dancers can enroll in their choice of five 90-minute dance workshops. Choices include Afro-Latin movement, street-salsa technique, styling, cha-cha-cha, and bachata. Students do not need dancing experience to participate in the workshops.
Dancers should wear jazz sneakers or shoes with leather soles to class. Tennis shoes are not permitted. See the schedule for both the classes and workshops. For the salsa option, A indicates the first class and B indicates the second.

About Strictly Street Salsa
What began as a small studio with five enthusiastic dance students has transformed into a full-fledged company that's educated thousands and won multiple awards along the way—including a Certificate of Congressional Recognition. Today, Strictly Street Salsa has a whole team of instructors that has danced its way across the likes of Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Spain, and Rome and is ready to introduce students to new cultures through the art of dance. The studio offers classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced dancers in both salsa and tango and hosts dance workshops that blend Latin dance with various cultural elements, including African movement, gypsy music, and good old-fashioned American screaming.
