About Strictly Tango NYC
Strictly Tango NYC has a one track mind. Instead of bombarding students with multiple dance forms, their instructors devote each class to teaching Argentine Tango, a dance comprised of traditional, elegant steps. However, they shun traditional class structures for their own learn Argentine tango system, which focuses on fundamentals and precise movement execution. Through this system, students build a strong understanding of the dance’s structure. Beyond group classes, studio founder Sergio Segura and his team also lead a variety of boot camps and workshops that aim to solidify students’ knowledge on specific subjects, such as dance embellishments, leader and follow techniques, and tangoing on an airplane.
