What You'll Get
From Napoleon's great crab-walk through Europe to J. Robert Oppenheimer's discovery of nuclear fission by kissing his own elbow, victory has always gone to the most flexible. Overpower enemies with today's Groupon: for $39, you get one month of unlimited yoga (up to an $89 value) at STROGA, located on Adams Mill Road.
STROGA specializes in both yoga and functional strength training, crafting fitness routines that utilize every imaginable turn of every available appendage attached to a body of any age. Its scheduled Yoga offerings include early-morning sunrise (a Vinyasa flow-style class) as well as power (a fast-paced, endurance-building style). Several classes are held within a room heated to 95 degrees, encouraging detoxification and discouraging pockets full of ice cubes. STROGA's staff of experienced instructors is adept at showing students of every ability level the secrets of increasing strength and flexibility while eliminating stress and uniting body and mind.
The studio itself is a cavernous affair spread over multiple floors, with multitudes of wide windows providing an ample supply of cheery natural light that doesn't smell like blueberry jam. Studios decked in hardwood floors with intricate baroque ceilings or murals of soft, white clouds provide gorgeous and calm spaces to engage in bodily revivifying. After class, head to the lounge and recline on a cozy sofa, or cool down by doing calisthenics while holding a plate of beef stroganoff.

About Stroga Strength and Yoga
Stroga Strength and Yoga is the perfect name for Doug Jefferies’ fitness studio, as his goal is to help clients reach optimal levels of wellness through a combination of strength conditioning and yoga. They offer numerous classes for all skill levels, from fundamental and hatha yoga to fitness classes such as group strength training, TRX, cycling, Zumba, and kickboxing.
The studio sprawls out within the L'Aiglon building, an early 20th-century construction accented by stained-glass windows and extensive woodwork. Inside the immense yoga space, ivory chandeliers drip from an intricately carved ceiling of the same hue, and periwinkle walls alternate with floor-to-ceiling windows that bathe up to 100 yogis in natural light. An azure ceiling painted with puffy white clouds tops the open-concept fitness area, which accommodates group classes for up to 20 students or up to one massively over-stuffed teddy bear.
