At STS Tire and Auto Center's 19 Long Island locations, automotive technicians drain engines of used oil, pour in up to 5 quarts of fresh Quaker State 5W30 conventional oil, and screw on a new filter. They then rotate tires to maintain even tread wear before performing a close visual inspection of the brakes and main-safety points. Services typically take between 30 and 40 minutes and include disposal fees. Vehicles requiring special types of filters, nonconventional oil, or more than 5 quarts of oil may incur additional fees.

About STS Tires and Auto Centers
Founded in 1958 in Somerset County, New Jersey, STS Tire and Auto Centers has grown to nearly 150 retail locations from Long Island to Philadelphia. Yet instead of adopting a corporate-style operation, STS's leadership has maintained an employee-owned-and-operated model at each shop, thereby preserving its personable approach. ASE-certified automotive technicians repair and maintain vehicles with a comprehensive slate of services, from routine oil changes to engine diagnostics. The crews at each sparkling-clean repair center pride themselves on being both fast and thorough thanks to a vast inventory of brand-name parts, including a stock of tires that could fill more than four football fields. STS's technicians back most of their work with a warranty, which covers 12 months, 12,000 miles, or 12 wrong turns onto a demolition derby—whichever comes first.
