Studio J Pilates, Barre and Fitness
The knowledgeable instructors at Studio J Pilates help newcomers formulate a fitness plan in an initial assessment, then introduce them to the fundamentals of mat or equipment Pilates in group or small-group sessions. With an emphasis on basic alignment, foundation, and specific muscle actions, students focus on the form of their body's core, arms, seat, and thighs while performing small isometric movements. In addition to the studio's Pilates and yoga offerings, Barre classes help lengthen and tone bodies using ballet workout techniques that don't require dance experience to perform. Also offered are fat-burning workouts that integrate ballet barre, light weights, and various props.
