Studio ME invites you to put yourself—specifically, your health—first with group classes that incorporate private training principles. Studio ME has a class for everyone whether you want to test your limits or partake in recovery classes. All classes range from 30 to 60 minutes. Classes like the shockwave express are some of the shorter options, which allows you to squeeze in a workout within 30-minutes. It blends rowing and functional-strength exercises to swiftly strengthen the core, legs, and arms.
Pick from a variety of rowing classes, including the total body row that alternates short bursts on the rowing machine followed by strength training utilizing free weights, TRX Suspension Trainer, and body weight. The row & flow is a 60-minute session that begins with participants working as a crew through rowing intervals and racing before winding down with stretching and yoga poses. Indo-Row gets everyone ready to row as a crew. This 45 minute class takes you through intervals to get the heart rate up and give you a total body workout. Row barre class allows you to experience cardio interval training on a WaterRower and strength training utilizing barre principles.
You can also have your choice of TRX and kettlebell classes. The TRX Sculpt and Barre class uses the TRX suspension trainer to provide an intense body-weight-based workout. The kettlebell circuit class is led by owner and Nordeast resident, Megan Cooper, this circuit class is smaller than most at the studio because it focuses on the technique behind kettlebell moves including swings, get-ups, and squats. The kettlebell AMPD is mostly light weights with lots of reps that are set to the beat of the song, and is intended for those who are not yet ready for a hard-style kettlebell class.
