Do you teach bass guitar? If so, I'd like to take 4 lessons with the option to switch to pop piano if it it's not my thing.

Q:

My son has never played an instrument - he would like to "try" drums and guitar. Can we buy the 4 lesson deal and use 2 lessons for each instrument? Obviously we want to see which he likes best before we commit to buying the instrument. Thank you

Shane M.  asked on  Jan 26, 2013

A:

Q:

I have 2 children. Can I purchase the four session deal x 2, one for each child? Also, they have never taken lessons before, are the instruments provided and is it an extra fee, if they are?

Val R.  asked on  Jan 25, 2013

A:

Sure, you can buy one for each child. they will need their own instrument. We can often lend a student a guitar for the lesson and of course we have piano's and drums at the school for the lesson but every student should have an instrument at home to practice on between their lessons. thanks

Q:

My daughter is looking for some assistance preparing for her B.Ed/B.Music entrance audition for the University of Lethbridge. The audition is in March, I believe. She hasn't decided on the instrument that she'll be auditioning on, but most likely it will be a sax (tenor or bari). There's also a small possiblity it will be a bassoon. Can you provide her with this type of short-term instruction? She has never really had official lessons outside of school, just one year of theory in 2011 and many years with the Bands of Calgary.

Michelle F.  asked on  Jan 22, 2013

A:

Yes Absolutely. my recommendation would be our Brass and woodwind teacher Ken. He is proficient on most of the band instruments and has prepared many students for university entrance auditions.
