About Subzero Cryotherapy
Subzero Cryotherapy has only one goal: introduce clients to the mentally and physically rejuvenating benefits of cryotherapy treatments. Originally designed to treat the painful inflammation caused by rheumatoid arthritis, the center's cryotherapy technology rejuvenates the body by exposing the skin to extremely cold temperature for two to three minutes. Clients stand within an open-topped chamber while a cloud of nitrogen gas and bottled yeti breath envelops them. This cloud dramatically drops the skin's temperature, which stimulates endorphin production and causes the body to redirect blood flow from the extremities to the core. As the body warms up after the treatment has ended, this oxygen- and nutrient-rich blood floods back into the limbs and boosts clients' metabolisms. In addition to triggering cellular regeneration, alleviating muscle aches, and jump-starting the body's natural healing capabilities, cryotherapy can help improve the skin's tone and texture by increasing collagen production.
