Q:

I have slides. What is the charge per slide to transfer to CD?

sharon r.  asked on  Jan 17, 2013

A:

Our pricing depends on the scan rate and quantity. Once we know how many slides you have and what you want to end up with we can determine the scan rate and offer a quote.

Q:

I want to buy the $ 65.00 5 tape to dvd special. Does that mean I can only transfer 5 tapes, even if they are only 30 minutes each (vhsc) or I can transfer as many tapes as can fit on 5 dvds?

Karen L.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

The offer is for 5 tapes to DVD. Sometimes all five tapes can fit on one DVD sometimes 5 tapes fit on 5 DVDs. If you have more than 5 tapes you may want to buy 2 different offers.

Q:

Is there a way to get a digital copy of the tape content to store on a computer? Or is that something we can do after receiving our dvd transfer?

Karen L.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

It sounds like you want to edit your footage after import. There are 2 options available. Depending on the length of you tape(s), we can import and convert to the specific file type you want and save to disc or external storage device. The second option is to give you an encoded DVD and you can convert and import yourself from the DVD.

Q:

Would one of these options apply towards transferring video from the camcorder harddrive to DVD?

Bonnie W.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

The $35 for $70 offer is the one you want. We would charge $15 set up and our regular transfer rates of $35 for 2 hours, $40 for 4 hrs and $45 for up to 6 hrs. Let us know if you need anything else.

Q:

I have 7 VHS tapes that I would like to have DVD made. Which deal do I need?

Luann W.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

It all depends on the length of your tapes. This deal is for a 2 hour limit per tape, so if your tapes are over 2 hours the 10 tape deal is best, if under 2 hours the 5 tape deal is best. we do charge for additional tape and time.

Q:

Are super 8 tapes, the same as HI-8mm? I guess I'm asking if super 8 tapes are included in the deal?

Linda K.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

Super 8mm is film (with sprocket holes). 8mm tape comes in reg 8, HI 8 and digital 8. The tape offers are good for this format, the $value for services is good for the film. You can also include different formats of tape; 8mm tape and VHS can be in the same tape transfer offer. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
