About Suds Monkey Brewing
Suds Monkey Brewery and Kitchen has humble beginnings: some friends who got the knack of brewing in one of their parent's basement with a stainless steel pot, plastic buckets, and some ingredients. Through lots of work and partnership/collaboration, Suds Monkey officially came into being in 2016 and has since expanded to a no-frills, quality beer taproom. They house rotating taps including some local favorites:
- Zen Monkey Hefeweizen (5.2%): A banana-y, light-bodied hefeweizen.
- Astro Monkey Blonde (5.3%): An American ale that came out after the first year Suds Monkey was open, this beer has become a favorite. It utilizes hops without the bite of citrus flavors.
- Cheeky Monkey Session American Wheat (4.7%): A zesty beer made with malt, wheat, and hops, this beer is drinkable any time of year but especially during hot summer days.
