You could say sugaring runs in Kalyn Verbeke's family. The owner of Sugar Me Bare learned how to use the all-natural paste of lemon juice, water, and sugar to remove hair at Sugaring LA, her aunt's shop in California. Sugar Me Bare studied their aunt's techniques before moving back to Ohio to open her own hair-removal salon.
There, the aesthetician applies a ball of the paste to the hair against the direction of hair growth, and then quickly removes it with her gloved hand.
