About Sugarcomb Salon
An opulent crystal chandelier hangs down from the high-vaulted ceiling of Sugarcomb Salon, illuminating its pastel walls, gilded mirrors, and contemporary artwork. One such piece is a colorful rendering of The Beatles, with the musicians gazing appreciatively over the new looks furnished around them. Those transformations take place behind leather chairs as experienced stylists tend to strands with precision cuts, Redken coloring, and special occasion updos. In the corner of the salon, a hot pink, miniature vanity sits—testament to the salon’s kid-friendly vibe and cutting prowess that earned it Parent Map's 2011 Golden Teddy Award Finalist for Best Kids' Haircuts. The salon also hosts a resident aesthetician who rejuvenates complexions with Honeysuckle Spa Organic Skincare and Glomineral skincare.
When not acting as a backdrop during business hours, the funky salon transforms into an event space, hosting local art showings, record release parties with live music, and fashion shows featuring entire collections made from dulled down cutting shears.
