The front desk person was incredibly cheerful and welcoming. The massage therapists were also incredibly communicative and the atmosphere was very grounding. I highly recommend going to Sumbody for massage.

Great massage A+ facility

Sumbody spa was a fantastic experience! Our therapists (Crystal & Diamond) we’re true professionals. They made us feel perfectly pampered and relaxed, as well as had beautiful energy. We felt quite restored after 😌

Booking a couples massage for my wife and I over the phone was extremely easy even with the Groupon code. The therapist made us both feel very comfortable and constantly checked in with us to make sure that the treatment was going well. Will definitely be back.

The staff at Sumbody went above and beyond to take care of my husband and myself when we had to reschedule our couples massage several times. Hannah was able to help me upfront when I had some technical difficulties redeeming my Groupon voucher and Ana, the massage therapist, gave the best massage I have ever had! Ana not only took time to communicate with me every step of the way to ensure I was comfortable and getting the pressure I wanted, she educated me on the best ways for me to move and stretch to prevent further inflammation and injury. I will definitely be coming back as soon as I can!

Every time we visit Sumbody in Alameda we have a really nice experience. This time we had Camryn and Crystal; big very talented massage therapists. We'll certainly be back.

Fantastic experience! Flexible scheduling, great massages, friendly folks who helped round out the experience and make it great overall. Only bummer due to staffing was not being able to schedule our couple massages together but not that big of a deal in the long run and we both had a great massage - which is what matters most!
