For $15, today's side deal gets you two adult tickets to Cabaret Night in the Woods—Broadway Meets Summer Camp or A Taste of Erin—Three Irish One-Act Plays at SummerStage (up to a $30 value), located in Lapham Peak State Park. This Groupon expires on September 12, 2010.
SummerStage is an outdoor theater with open, unassigned seating, allowing guests to bring their own blankets or chairs for show-watching comfort. Choose from two shows:
- Cabaret Night in the Woods—Broadway Meets Summer Camp (tickets valued at $13 for adults or $11 for seniors) features talented singers belting out cabaret tunes about the outdoors in the outdoors while dreaming about one day drawing the outdoors.
- A Taste of Erin—Three Irish One-Act Plays (tickets valued at $15 for adults or $13 for seniors) is an evening of professional Irish theater, including Bad Sunday by Mark Wale (a story of a dysfunctional Irish family) and Rising of the Moon and Work House Ward by Lady Gregory. Rising of the Moon was first performed in 1907 and explores the inner conflicts of an Irish policeman, and Work House Ward is a lighthearted look at the Irish art of argument.
There is a $5-per-car state-park parking fee for SummerStage events (fee waived with a state-park sticker).
