What You'll Get
Boot camps apply military concepts to daily life, as do dance parties set to Morse code and tanks converted into school buses. Declassify your abs with today's Groupon: for $59, you get one month of women-only boot-camp classes at Summit County Adventure Boot Camp in Hudson (a $199 value). This Groupon is valid for three classes per week over a four-week span. Click here for a schedule of classes.
Summit County Adventure Boot Camp’s owner and lead trainer, Chris Cesnak, beats a cardio-pumping path toward fitness goals in outdoor boot-camp class designed to help women shed up to 12 pounds while building strength and endurance. Exercisers of all skill levels greet the groggy sun at 5:30 a.m. to run through an arsenal that includes muscle bulking, core chiseling, agility training, or light running. Each session switches up the routine to target different muscle groups and keep bored limbs from falling asleep.
With continued boot-camp practice, many women note such benefits as a slimmer physique, straighter posture, and increased endurance. Chris asks that each participant bring her own sets of 5- and 8-pound dumbbells for each class, along with an exercise mat, towel, water bottle, and cheerleading team for support.

About Summit County Adventure Boot Camp
Chris Cesnak doesn't wait for Apollo to deadlift the sun over the horizon to start his day. At Summit County Adventure Boot Camp, Cesnak—an NSCA-certified strength and conditioning specialist—starts every workout at 5:30 a.m., using equal parts surprise and support to forge women's bodies into shape. Suited to women of all fitness levels, each morning consists of exercises that often include sprints, push-ups, core work, and obstacle courses, as participants feed off the motivation from Cesnak, each other, and birds shouting "Go to sleep!" from their nests.
