In every private tanning room at Sun Spot, a shelf and hangers ensconce clothes and satchels. Shoes flop to the floor next to comfortable seating, slipping from the feet of patrons adjusting the volume on personal AM/FM stereos-CD players before the UV bed coaxes out melanin. The UV beds range across six levels of tanning power and sport adjustable body fans so guests stay cool or find an excuse to redesign the north wing of a house of cards.
