What You'll Get
Rafts have long been part of American culture, serving as vessels for frontier exploration and childcare for lovable scamps. Have your own adventures with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $19 for a half-day whitewater-rafting outing on the Middle or Upper Ocoee River on a weekday (up to a $40 value)
- $24 for a half-day whitewater-rafting outing on the Middle or Upper Ocoee River on a Saturday (up to a $49 value)
With more than 5 miles of continuous rapids, the Middle Ocoee River adventure best suits first-timers. The gentler rumbles give them time to learn the ropes before taking on the final and most challenging section of rapids. Alternatively, the Upper Ocoee River starts slowly, but picks up speed over a stretch of Class III and IV rapids. Each outing lasts about 3.5 hours, with 2 hours spent on the water and 1.5 hours spent orienting visitors and convincing the raft that it won’t be as scary as last time.

About Sunburst Adventures
For over 40 years, Sunburst Adventures has thrilled millions of visitors on whitewater rafting trips down the Ocoee River since 1976. Rafts are helmed by experienced guides who provide a balanced diet of useful instruction and funny anecdotes, creating an experience that is fun, challenging, and safe. Groups of experienced and novice boaters get drenched as they tackle roaring rapids such as Hell's Hole and Godzilla while careening their way down the river's 10-mile stretch. Small breaks are taken from rafting to let paddlers cool off and even take a dip in hidden, lesser known "fun spots" on the Ocoee River. And for those seeking a more leisurely experience of the river's natural splendor, tubing down the calmer waters of Lower Ocoee is a great alternative.
