What You'll Get
Like a shrewd defense attorney, a spray tan can provide the plausible alibi of a Caribbean vacation. Achieve a skin tone to match the bronze scales of justice with today’s Groupon: for $19, you get a UV-free studio classic Sundrops tan at Sundrops Spray Tanning Studio (a $45 value), celebrating its recent grand reopening at a new location.
Sundrops Spray Tanning Studio’s team of experienced technicians gilds pallid physiques with organic, UV-free spray-tan solution. Once patrons have shed their clothes, a glow-guru employs a spray gun’s compressed air to cloak bodies in a mist of pseudo-sunning solution forged from distilled water, aloe vera gel, vitamin E, and green-tea extract. Staff members customize each tan to address individual needs and desired levels of sun mimicry, and imbue epidermises with a light-to-medium caramel hue in approximately three minutes. Although the spray can take between 3 and 12 hours to fully develop, the formula also includes a cosmetic bronzing agent that instantly metamorphoses ghostly complexions into golden fleeces. Newly radiant frames can sport their spray tans for up to 5–10 days depending on skin type and skin-care regimens. Peruse Sundrops’ online FAQs for more information about the spray-tanning process.

Tanning beds are strictly outlawed within Sundrops. Instead, the owner hires experienced technicians who expertly spritz skin with safe, high-quality tanning solution tanning solution that results in a streak-free, natural glow, rather than orangey skin. After clients undress to their comfort level, the techs use a high-volume, low-pressure spray gun to mist skin, using extra caution around hands, feet, elbows, and knees to avoid over-darkening those areas.
Their tanning solution contains botanical extract, vitamin E, and green-tea extract, but the bronze comes from two sources. First, a cosmetic bronzer with natural pigment imparts immediate color to help the technician see where the tan is landing and give skin an instant glow, which washes off after showering. The solution's active ingredient is DHA, which is derived from sugar beets and reacts with skin's top layer. The DHA tan begins to appear about four hours after appointments and fully develops for up to 12 hours, and lasts for 5–10 days, depending on which type of tan technicians apply. The spray tan itself takes about three minutes, and clients can easily get in and out within 15 minutes to resume their busy day
