Q:

I just bought two because that was the max and i just recently became addicted to paddle boarding. Is there any way possible for me to use both for myself on different occasions? I have never been to the shack before but cant wait to try it out up there!

A:

Hey Katie, We would rather if you shared that other voucher with another person. I promise that Trudie will take care of you as she is the best in the bay and our Best of 2012 Groupon merchant.

Q:

I'm still confused. Does does the lesson include the rental? I think Daniella asked the same question, but your answer is not clear. Thanks1

elizabeth m.  asked on  Aug 20, 2012

A:

Hey Elizabeth, No, you would need to purchase the rental separate from the lesson. If you don't have prior SUP experience you would need to take the Discover SUP lesson prior to being able to use the rental. Hope this is more clear!

Q:

Can you clarify: can I do the tour without having had a lesson? (I have paddleboarded once before on Lake Tahoe) ... also if my friend has never paddleboarded before, same question - is a lesson required, or can we do the tour without one?

Q:

My friend purchased a groupon offer from you for lesson w/board and 2 hour time out. Now, I want to purchase your 2 current offers of 1.lesson w/board - $12 and 2. 2 hour time out -$19 Would these 2 groupons be equal to/the same as my friend's groupon?? We want to do it together, if possible. Please let me know, and I'll wait to purchase my groupons. thanks! oh...one more question: I just paddleboarded for the first time 2 weeks ago, in Minneapolis, on a calm lake. I used a rather wide, thick, "beginner" board - is that what you use? I did well, except for the very beginning, when I had to manuver myself through a narrow passage and under a bridge... I hit the side of the bridge, fell off, swam to the board and paddle, got up and onto my knees, and after clearing the bridge passage, I stood back up, and everything was perfect after that. The water was much warmer than our harbor/wharf - so it was a refreshing, invigorating start to a fun afternoon. Sorry for my digression...

diane g.  asked on  Aug 20, 2012

A:

Hi, Diane! There is a limit of one Groupon per person, so you could not purchase two. I would suggest contacting SUP Shack directly at (831) 464-7467 for more information.
