Wine gets better with age, like cheese and the value of a first-edition copy of Abraham Lincoln's autobiography, Lincoln for Love in All the Wrong Places. Enjoy timeless taste with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $10 for a wine flight for two (a $20 value)
- $75 for a 90-minute wine-and-cheese class for up to 10 (a $150 value)
Wine flights (available from 3 p.m. to close) include five tastes of small-production wines per person; the selection changes daily. Couples can nosh on complimentary salted nuts or purchase cheese on the side.
During the 90-minute wine-and-cheese class, up to 10 students sample five to six wines while learning about the production of each style, the soil from each region, and food-pairing tricks for each varietal. With each sip, patrons take bites of three cheeses—one aged, one fresh, and one blue—or nibbles of olives, bread, and olive oil. The lineup of wines can be customized when customers make their reservation. On the day of the class, all Groupon holders will also enjoy a 10% discount on retail wine and cheese.
Nestled in the northern Pearl District, Superjet’s resident gourmands curate fine wine, coffee, cheese, and beer in their bistro-style café and bar. A gaggle of globe lights hangs over the sleek white counter, where patrons sample wine flights or sip heady and dark espresso. Eater reports that an array of artisan cheeses from around the world harmonize neatly with each libation, unlike trying to sing Christmas carols with Oktoberfest beers.
