What You'll Get
The human body, unlike raisins, white wine, and the wit of Oscar Wilde, isn't meant to be dry. Soak your body before it wilts with today's Groupon: for $99, you get a two-hour guided standup paddleboard tour for up to four from SurfSUP Adventures (up to a $260 value). This Groupon is good for all of the SurfSUP adventures, but excludes whitewater SUP and creek surfing.
With SurfSUP Adventures, relaxation hunters and aquatic adventurers exult in the great outdoors. After setting up a rendezvous point, guide Ian Smith saddles paddleboarders with ULI, C4, or Imagine surfboards and life jackets, readying riders to navigate the waterways safely while catching the aqueous eyes of single river nymphs. Leisurely waders can choose to serenely lilt along a gentle river or explore Pittsburgh's waterways on any of the featured surf spots, including the Allegheny River, Lake Arthur, and The Kiskiminetas River, whose calm waters afford landlubbers a chance to stand on water like a swaggering Poseidon. In addition to long excursions, SurfSUP hosts regular fitness tours and adventures ideal for meeting new friends or losing unwanted pounds on the twisting river bends.
Call at least seven days in advance to schedule the tour.

About SurfSUP Adventures
Western Pennsylvania may not be the first place that comes to mind when thinking about premier standup paddleboarding spots. But for SurfSUP Adventures founder Ian Smith, it was a no-brainer. After exploring the area's rivers, lakes, and whitewater rafting locales, Smith established SurfSUP Adventures to introduce adventurers to the region-friendly sport. Ian and his staff lead eco tours aboard paddleboards, weaving through waterways to discover local flora, fauna, and fossilized surfboards. They also host SUP excursions on Pittsburgh's riverfront and teach SUP yoga classes to sculpt core muscles.
