$30 for One Survival-Themed Mud-Run Entry (Up to $100 Value)
Beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, runners toe the starting line in heats held every 15 minutes until the final wave takes off at 4 p.m. Each runner receives an official wristband, Survival Sprint T-shirt, and post-race refreshments in the form of fresh fruit and beer. Runners should bring race-appropriate clothes, drinking water, water to rinse themselves off with after the race, and blankets or lawn chairs to relax on once they’ve crossed the finish line.
The Survival Sprint takes runners through forests, sand dunes, open fields, and waterways—but it’s not merely a test of speed and endurance. Throughout the course, sprinters encounter 20 obstacles that test old-school survival skills, such as feeding animals, chopping wood, and raising a barn. The course also includes a zip line and areas where racers may have to crawl and swim. After crossing the finish line, runners can unwind with complimentary beer and fresh fruit.
