What You'll Get
As the saying goes, you have to walk before you can run and swim before you can run for mayor of Atlantis. Prepare kids to rule the seas with today's Groupon: for $35, you get six weeks’ worth of children's swim lessons at Swim-N-More in the Millennium Center downtown (a $72 value). Classes must be taken once a week, at the same time, and completed within six weeks.
Swim-N-More transforms dog paddlers into water wolves via fun, personalized swim instruction. Certified as lifeguards, Swim-N-More's wave wizards guide schools of three to six tadpoles from basic skills, such as how to break down the molecular structure of water, through more advanced kicks and strokes. Small fries, aged 6 months through 3 years, can tow their guardians to the Bubble Club, where parents utilize pool games to give their spawn the support necessary to eventually swim free.
In the Fish class, guppies aged 3 to 6 years can stretch their flippers independently and add splashier moves to their repertoire. Meanwhile, older kids can sail through six levels of the American Red Cross's Learn to Swim program, like dolphins ascending the ranks of their rigidly hierarchical society. Half-hour classes take place throughout the week, and new sessions may be added according to interest.
