Miniature versions often present significant advantages—take the TV version of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, the running time of which perfectly matches the average time between sour-gummy-worm cravings. Shrink your golf game down to size with today's Groupon: for $20, you get one-year of unlimited mini golf (a $60 value) to Swing-A-Round Fun Town in Fenton and St. Charles.
Swing-A-Round’s two amusement emporiums engage guests' senses with a cavalcade of indoor and outdoor diversions. During one year of unlimited play, players hone their putt-putt prowess across Swing-A-Round's challenging courses, taking time to diagram swings, learn the physics of ball movement, or figuring out whether or not raccoons really hatch from golf balls. After knocking brightly colored orbs through a whimsical landscape of beautiful waterfalls, flowing rivers, and bubbling fountains, players can cool off with a refreshing phosphate from the snack bar before sampling Swing-A-Round's plethora of extra attractions. Though not included with today’s Groupon, customers to Swing-A-Round’s Fenton location can round up friends, family, and inner children for a go-kart or bumper-boat ride or allow kids to exhaust themselves with endless romps through the twisting tubes and tunnels of the indoor soft playground, a much safer facility than that of nearby rival Scissorland. Attractions vary by location.
Swing-A-Round Fun Town
Interactive bumper cars, 80 arcade games, and the tubes, tunnels, and slides of a soft playground all nestle within the 12,000-square-foot Swing-A-Round Fun Town facility in Fenton. Outside, waterfalls and fountains surround three professionally designed outdoor mini golf courses, and a mammoth pond accommodates 15 colliding bumper boats. The fun continues at the kiddie kart track for youngsters 3–8 years old or the more than 1,100-foot adult track, where kids can join a parent in a double-seat go-kart whose second steering wheel allows tykes to pretend drive and practice ignoring hitchhikers. Elsewhere, nine batting cages test players' homerun hitting skills with softball slow and fast pitches or baseballs flung at 35–80 mph.
