What You'll Get
Go-karts allow people to experience the thrill of driving without having to hear radio ads for pungent soaps or look at four empty seats that remind them of the time someone stole their family of mannequins. Keep thrills pure with today's Groupon: for $17, you get two go-kart races with a helmet rental at SyKart Indoor Racing Center in Tukwila (up to a $36 value).
SyKart Indoor Racing Center kick starts adrenaline with head-to-head racing on a full indoor track, where tire-rimmed lanes and curves abound. Speed seekers plop on a safety helmet, which is equipped with a sanitary liner to ensure perfect helmet hair, before saddling up a 6.5- or 9-horsepower Sodi kart, which can exceed 40 miles per hour. During two 10-minute races, drivers compete for bragging rights against up to 14 other karters while whipping around the track. At the culmination of each race, speedsters each receive a printout of their lap times, total race time, and a personalized note from their go-kart.
In between races, riders can hit up a sentry of arcade games or practice stick-eye coordination during a game of pool. A bevy of beverages, including soda and Red Bull, cool off mouth motors.

About SyKart Indoor Racing Center
Firmly belted into one of two models of Sodikart go-karts, racers work on smoothly navigating turns and straightaways as they travel at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. SyKart Indoor Racing Center encourages visitors to embrace the adrenaline rushes and the g-forces of a competitive race, but safety remains its number-one priority. The staff members limit the number of karts to 12–15 for each race, and they require all participants to wear DOT-approved motorcycle helmets with protective visors. Additionally, they dole out racing tips and keep vigilant watch throughout the contests to ensure that drivers obey the rules.
After each race, the participants receive a printout with each of their lap times, which they can use to compare with friends or apply for a job as the Rock’s chauffeur. Pool tables, arcade games, and drink vending machines also help guests pass the time between events.
