Sylvan Robotics classes are designed for kids in first through sixth grade. This new educational program helps students gain a love of science and technology at a young age with interactive, fun, and hands-on activities. During this 2 hour workshop, kids build robots out of Lego bricks and bring them to life with computer programming.
Robotics classes expose students to different technology and engineering concepts in an unconventional and fun way in order to help them develop a life-long interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) subjects. The hands-on learning experience encourages collaboration among the students, helping them build important critical thinking skills and demonstrating how seemingly abstract concepts can work together to create a tangible object—a programmable robot.
