You’ve seen dancers perform to music, but have you ever seen them become the instruments? Renowned tapper Baakari Wilder joins the Symphony Orchestra of Northern Virginia as a solo instrumentalist for this mesmerizing performance at the George Washington Masonic Memorial in Alexandria. Wilder has worked with Savion Glover and Gregory Hines, and starred in Bring in ‘da Noise, Bring in ‘da Funk on Broadway. He’s also the assistant artistic director of Capitol Tap, who will be performing in the concert. Symphonic Tap is an adventures mix of music and dance.
