Jumping through a ring of fire astride a roaring tiger may not be something that students at Synapse Circus Center are required to do on their first day in class, but that doesn't mean the studio's training programs are anything less than exciting. This recreational circus school places a strong emphasis on creativity and passion, inviting both children and adults to discover a new way of expressing themselves through circus arts. Synapse's classes foster teamwork and communication in an inclusive, non-competitive environment—not only helping students develop the necessary physical skills and flexibility, but also focusing on less tangible qualities such as confidence-building and a collaborative attitude. Apart from regular scheduled class sessions, the school also has day camps for kids, hosts field trips, school groups and circus-themed birthday parties.
