Q:

I am familiar with the CO2 resurfacing but what does the "shine" process mean exactly? Can I buy more than one tr eatment for myself? And if so, what is the time lapse I between treatments? Thank you

annelies d.  asked on  Apr 9, 2013

A:

Hello Annelies, The Buff & Shine is a mild treatment with our MiXto CO2 fractional laser. The “Buff and Shine” name represents the setting and intensity level we do for this treatment. The Buff & Shine helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, sun spots, age spots, and helps to tighten the skin. Since this Groupon is such a great deal we can only offer one per person and you may buy one as an additional gift. You may do treatments as soon as a month apart.

Q:

Is it at all painful?

Brandee M.  asked on  Apr 8, 2013

A:

Hi Brandee, We use numbing cream applied before the treatment. This will help to numb the top layer of your skin and help with any discomfort the patient might feel from the laser. Also what’s neat about this MiXto laser is the Buff & Shine treatment has little to no down time! We do offer the complementary consultation before the treatment to answer any other questions you or the patient may have.

Q:

I'm 33 and are starting to see lines around my eyes. It really bothers me. Not sure if this the right procedure for me, but really considering it. A few lines on the forehead and smile lines..but pretty fine lines..Is this more of a procedure for more prominent lines? Any suggestions?

Francisca S.  asked on  Apr 7, 2013

A:

Hello Francisca, This treatment is great for fine lines! The Buff & Shine helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, sun spots, age spots, and help tighten the skin in just an hour treatment with little to no down time. You may choose to do one area (around the eyes, around the mouth, cheeks, chin, or forehead) or full face with this great deal!

Q:

What are the differences between the two packages? When I click on "treatment areas" it doesn't take me to a link describing the service in more detail. I think there is an error. Thanks.

Julia R.  asked on  Apr 8, 2013

A:

Hi Julia, The difference between both deals is the $399 is for full face and the $199 is for one area. Choices for the one area are listed below: • Around the eyes • Around the mouth • Cheeks • Chin • Forehead

Hi: I wanted to know whether you need any anesthetic and how long the recovery time is. Thanks, Tina
