Learn to with live music and drumming in an energetic heart-pounding class! Taere Tiai Polynesian Dance specializes in the dance art of Ori Tahiti and the South Pacific. Our class focuses on teaching the basic fundamentals and technique of Tahitian Dance while a fun, energetic environment. We have classes tailoring to all ages of all levels. We are conveniently located off the I-80 freeway in Hercules, CA.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

The beauty of Polynesia speaks not only through song and dance, but in its rich culture of tradition. With over 20 years of Polynesian dance expertise and award-winning performances, Taere Tiai is dedicated to promoting friendship, understanding and cultural awareness through song, dance, education and performing arts for all ages and levels.

What do you love most about your job?

What we love most is being able to see our most shy dancers become confident performing participants! Our performers have the opportunity for share their talents at local churches, community events, opening shows and many other functions.
