Taco Spot's name definitely tips its hand—there are indeed tacos on the menu, with fillings from shrimp to ground beef. But there are also roasted chicken enchiladas smothered in rich mole sauce, and crispy fries buried beneath an avalanche of tender carne asada, cheese, and fresh guacamole and sour cream. Vegetarians aren't out of luck, either, since the well-rounded menu includes guacamole fries, chile rellenos, and burritos filled with tofu or grilled veggies. In the morning, diners can wake up to breakfast burritos and huevos rancheros, which is much more pleasant than listening to an out-of-tune rooster.
